My oldest son has been receiving an identical invitations since the 3rd grade. Both my spouse and I've been registered nurses for over twenty years, and our son made up our minds he was once curious about nursing as a profession about 1 12 months ago, so I am guessing that's how he were given on their mailing checklist.
If one is thinking about a profession in the medical occupation, there are many different activities that can prepare you for this. I might counsel getting a component time process in a health facility or clinic. Work at a summer camp as a counselor or teacher. Anything that shows you can take care of the accountability of being concerned for others.
My son, now 18 yrs. old and a soon to graduate senior used about the identical amount of money (approx. 00) final summer season to attend coaching and received his Licensed Nursing Assistance certification. Not most effective is he receiving fingers on education, however he is getting paid for it. As a former Nurse Manager, I can let you know that this appears more impressive on a resume than a 3 day seminar.
I guess everybody will have to make a choice their own path.
